To Your Eternity: Cast Members Revealed By Crunchyroll!

Yoshitoki Ōima’s To Your Eternity (Fumetsu no Anata e) manga’s official website revealed the anime’s main cast members on Monday. NHK Educational will premiere the 20-episode anime in October.

Masahiko Murata (Naruto Shippūden, Baby Steps) is the director of the anime. Shinzō Fujita (Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children, Duel Masters Cross) is the series composer and Koji Yabuno (Space Brothers, Naruto Shippūden: Blood Prison) is responsible for character design.

Kodansha Comics will publish the English version of the manga. The synopsis of the manga is given below.

Creator of the acclaimed A Silent Voice brings this new manga to you. The manga is an intimate, emotional drama and an epic story spanning time and space.

A lonely boy wandering the Arctic regions of North America meets a wolf. The boy and the wolf develop a bond and become best friends. They depend on each other to survive the harsh environment of the Arctic. Apparently, the wolf is more than what meets the eye and also, the boy has surprising mystery. To Your Eternity are a totally unique and moving manga about death, life, reincarnation, and the nature of love.

Crunchyroll will publish the digital English version of the manga.

At the 43rd annual Kodansha Manga Awards in May, the manga received the Best Shōnen Manga award. The manga was also ranked on the American Library Association’s (ALA’s) Young Adult Library Services Association’s (YALSA) 2019 list of Great Graphic Novels for Teens.

A Silent Voice, Oima’s previous manga inspired an anime film by Naoko Yamada and Kyoto Animation in 2016. Eleven Arts screened the film in the United States in Japanese with English subtitles in October 2017 and with an English dub in February 2018. The film received a great response all around the world and earned 2.3 billion yen in Japan.
