A sequel of the Troop Beverly Hills is in the making, and Tri-Star has set it up with AFI Conservatory grad Oran Zegman, who is going to make her directional feature debut. The 1989 Shelley Long feature is going to have a sequel. The film will be produced by the Oscar-nominated, Laurence Mark, who is known for Julie & Julia, the Greatest Showman, Dreamgirls, and Jerry Maguire. The screenplay of the Troop Beverly Hills 2 will be done by none other than Aeysha Carr. Also, the original scriptwriter, Tamara Chestna, is going to have a role in the productions.
The original movie was centred upon the life events of Ava Fries, a Beverly Hills housewife who is struggling to prove her daughter that she can and will rough it as a Wilderness girls leader. The production of the original movie was done by fries, and the screenplay of the original movie was done by Pamela Norris and Margaret Oberman. Troop Beverly Hills was directed by Jeff Kanew, and the producer of the film was Weintraub Entertainment. Frie is going to return along with Charles W. Fries to executively produce the second part of the movie. Shary Shirazi and Nicole Brown will be overseeing the studio.

Ora Zegman is an Israeli filmmaker who is based in Los Angeles. She graduated from Bet-Zvi in Israel with a Performing Arts degree and later, she went on to get her masters degree at the AFI Conservatory. Aeysha Carr is the showrunner on Woke and has previously written episodes on Brooklyn 99. She was a writer on Rel, Mixology, The Carmichael Show, and Everybody Hates Chris, and My Wife and Kids. Talking about the next works of her, she is writing the remake of the classic film, Planes, Trains, & Automobiles of Paramount.
Tamara Chestna has recently written he scripted adaptation of the novel Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu for the online streaming service providing platform, Netflix. It is directed by Amy Poehler. She has also written the screenplay for the After, an Indie Box Office feature. Up next she is going to write the script of an original musical drama which is going to be based on the catalogue of Dianne Warren for Paramount.
Oran Zegman is occupied by Sally Ware, WME, Andrew Deane, and Ava Jamshidi at Industry Entertainment and Lauren Partipilo at Hansen.
