Twister Reboot Version Is Being Made: Joseph Kosinski Reveals

If we talk about adventurous movies, there is hardly any person who does not like to watch such movies. So, here’s good news for all the adventure movie lovers. Universal Pictures is coming with the most exciting Reboot version of Twister.

Twister: All About The Movie

Twister is an American disaster movie released on 10th May 1996. The movie is all about action, adventure, and thrill. Moreover, the director of the movie is Jan de Bont.

The movie grossed 495 million US dollars in the box office. Most importantly, Twister became the second highest-grossing movie of 1996.

The movie stars Helen Hunt as Jo Harding, Jami Gertz, and Cary Elwes, Bill Paxton as Bill Harding. Furthermore, it follows a team of storm chasers who are researching tornadoes at the time of a major outbreak on Oklahoma.

Plot: What is in the movie?

Jo Harding became a storm chaser after her father lost his life due to a large twister. However, when Bill set off to become a successful weatherman, their marriage got into danger and they parted ways. The couple, who’s on the brink of divorce teams up to develop an advanced weather alert system. They risk their lives in violent tornadoes to place the weather alert system in the path of the twister.

Twister Reboot Version: Coming soon

Universal Pictures is planning a reboot of the disaster film ‘Twister’ and Joseph Kosinski is in line to direct. Joseph Kosinski is better known for his work in action movies like Tron: Legacy and Top Gun: Maverick.

Since the movie is yet to begin production, we can expect the movie to be released in late 2021 or early 2022. At this moment,  plot and cast details are not clear.

Frank Marshall will be the producer and the studio is in talks with the writers for the script.

It’s sad that the late Bill Paxton and Phillip Seymour Hoffman wouldn’t appear this time, people still are hoping for the Reboot Version of Twister to appear on the silver screen as soon as possible.

It’s not easy to revive a movie like Twister, but if any person and studio combo could do it, it’s Joseph Kosinski and Universal. So, we’ll have to wait and watch what happens next.
