Urayasu Tekkin Kazoku: To Resume This August!

Urayasu Tekkin Kazoku (Super Radical Gag Family) the live-action manga is a long-awaited series. Kenji Hamaoka created this terrific manga. The staff of the series announced on Thursday that the show will resume with new episodes from August 21. The show was stopped after its sixth episode on May 15 because of the ongoing Pandemic. COVID-19 disrupted the entire schedule of the game. The show’s website officially announced on June 27 that they have started filming again and the release date will be out soon.

The manga released on April 10. The show airs on various platforms like; TV Tokyo, TV Hokkaido, TV Aichi, TV Osaka, TV Setouchi, and TVQ Broadcasting Kyushu. Sambomaster created the original theme song of the manga which is very famous. BiSH performed “Buchi Nuke”, the original ending theme song.

Tōichirō Rutō (Ossan’s Love franchise) is responsible for the shows directing. Makoto Ueda wrote the scripts for the manga. Erika Fujita and Akiko Kamiyama are producing the live-action series with Shinji Abe as the chief producer.

History of the Manga

Hamaoka released the original version of live-action manga in 1993 in Weekly Shōnen Champion. The manga had three sequels with 31-volumes. Ganso! Urayasu Tekkin Kazoku, the 28-volume sequel ran from 2002 to 2010 and Maido! Urayasu Tekkin Kazoku, the 24-volume sequel began in 2010 and ended in March 2018. Appare! Urayasu Tekkin Kazokuis the currently ongoing series launched in March 2018.

A 33-episode television anime was made from the original Super Radical Gag Family in 1998. Akitarō Daichi was the director of the anime at Studio DEEN. Maido! This manga also inspired a television anime in 2014, and Daichi again directed the series.
