Netflix U.S. romance drama series ‘Virgin River’ which was inspired by the Virgin River novel written by Robyn Carr was released on December 6, 2019, is now going for its second.
The story is about Melinda ‘Mel’ Monroe, who works as obstetrician and nurse in town in Cali of Virgin River, moved from Los Angeles in the hope to forget her past and living a pleasant life.
The lead cast as Alexandra Breckenridge as Melinda ‘Mel’ Monroe, a nurse practitioner, and obstetrician, Martin Henderson as Jack Sheridan a local bar owner, Colin Lawrence as John Preacher Middletown chef in Jack’s bar and a friend, Jenny Cooper as Joe Barnes Mel’s older sister, Lauren Hammersley as Charmaine Roberts, Jack’s friends with benefits, Annette O’ Toole as Hope McCrea, the mayor of Virgin river, Tim Matheson as Vernon ‘Doc’ Mullins, MD, the Local physician in the town.
What in season 2:
The first part was about Melinda leaving her home, to live her own life, where she moved into a town in California, Virgin River. But it wasn’t going great; she decided to start a relationship with Jack, which isn’t going great. Also show left us at a cliffhanger where Melinda was fed up and asked to go home, About Christopher and Paige, about Brady, about Jack…
So we hope we will find some answers in the second season.
Release of the second season:
The season was renewed in December 2019, altho no release date is released, but the post-production has started so we can expect it to be released in August 2020 which will be comprised of 10 episodes.
