Gal Gadot reveals that she underwent multiple injuries and wounds from playing Wonder Woman. She needed back as well as neck surgery after filming the first movie.

During Wonder Woman’s PR, Gal had a hernia in her back, restricting things she could do. She explains, “The whole six weeks of press that we did, I couldn’t sit. I could only lie down or stand up. So, if you go back now and you see all of my interviews, I’m always standing.”
While the film was premiering, Gadot was in the operating room getting her back fixed. By ill luck, she hurt her neck and shoulders while filming WW 1984. She continues, saying, “It is what it is. It’s such a physical role, like the physicality is another character that I have to play. But it has its toll.”
Gal Gadot gives credits to her 12 years of dancing, which might have had a hand in her successfully performing stunt and fight scenes. Although Gadot’s military experience can be given credits too. Fans can see Gadot next, as Wonder Woman in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, which will premiere in March 2021 on HBO Max as a four-part miniseries.
