Yakunara Mug Cup Mo (Let’s Make a Mug Too) television anime has revealed details on its official website. The anime will act as Tajimi city’s promotional manga. The cast, staff, and key visual details for the anime got revealed on Wednesday. The project declared the upcoming anime on February 14.

Minami Tanaka will play the role of a pottery novice named Himeno Toyokawa. Yū Serizawa will appear as Himeno’s classmates. Mika Kukuri, Yūki Wakai will be seen as the pottery club’s mood-maker. Additionally, Rina Honnizumi will play the role of club president Toko Aoki who has enjoyed pottery since she was little.
Jun Kamiya will direct the anime. He is known for his works in Blue Seed, The Third: The Girl with the Blue Eye, Kingdom. Nippon Animation will host the anime. Naruhisa Arakawa is the lead scriptwriter. She has also written scripts of Active Raid, Twin Star Exorcists, This Art Club Has a Problem!
Ayano Yoshioka is designing the characters and also assuming the chief animations director’s office. Tajimi and its tourism association are both collaborating with the anime.
Tajimi is a small city located in the southern part of Gifu Prefecture, Japan. It is well-known for Mino earthenware. The city is full of magnificent pottery producers and ceramic art museums. The story revolves around a high school girl. She had just moved to a shopping street in Tajimi. A whole new adventure awaits her in this new city. Who she befriends, how the town folks treat her, the ceramic art, etc. is all a mystery.
The manga premiered in 2012. It is currently in its 32nd chapter. The manga also has a four-panel spinoff manga titled Naoko no Kobachi.
